Major Roberson of The Pilgrim Jubilees Passes to Glory

Many of you may have already heard that Major Roberson song writer and background singer of the Legendary Pilgrim Jubilees passed from earth to glory on last night. The family appreciates your concern and do need your prayers. This is a tough time for his wife and children. It has been asked that the phone calls will be held off while they try to deal with this and make arrangements for service. According to his wife the services will be on Friday, March 12 or Saturday, March 13, 2010. She will let us know as soon as she gets it together. It is ok to make the music world aware of his passing, but again until they can get things together please limit the phone calls and allow the family to focus. Please forward all calls of interest to Clay Graham.

Oh may. So sorry to hear about Major's passing. I am so glad I got to see him with the Pilgrim Jubilees. My prayers are for his family as they go through this difficult time. At this moment the Pilgrim Jubilees' song "Going Where Jesus Is" comes to mind.

I will always be grateful to him for the wealth of knowledge that he gave me concerning Gospel Concert Promotions. The Pilgrim Jubilees were also the 1st Group that put me on their Live Recordings...R.I.P. Major!
